Taraaz is a research and advocacy organization working at the intersection of Technology and Human Rights.
Taraaz means “spirit level” in Farsi. It’s a tool for achieving balance. At Taraaz, we research human rights implications of new technologies. We work with the technology industry, the nonprofit sector, and governments to help ensure that emerging technologies strike a balance between rapid change and respecting, protecting, and fulfilling human rights.
